Scalability

What is Scalability?

Scalability is the property of a system to increase the resources at the time that you need is.

If a system (database, operating system, hardware) can be modified to increase performance is said to be scalable, to improve rendimieto of the system to increase some resource.

Scalability

How it works?

This concept is focused on tools for business, giving them the ability to upgrade and modify their resources, such as by having a server for a million people but in the future customers exceed that capacity, the ability to increase capacity the server so that it can provide service to customers without any need for you coughing buying a new one.

You can climb a system in two ways, first is to increase system capacity by increasing the resources available, the second is increasing the system by adding more elements to manage and making the system more robust.
